The Matrix meets Star wars meets I, Robot


An engineer assigned to extract Earth’s remaining resources begins to question what he knows about his mission and himself, while trying to convince his technician of the same.


Although the story concept isn’t new, Oblivion puts a new spin on movies involving the future of the planet. Oblivion is a blend of action, story and plot twists. Although it’s not as exciting as the Matrix, it does deliver great intrigue with solid character development. Oblivion creates a desire for information throughout the film by giving you enough breadcrumbs to keep you on the edge of your seat. Unexpected plot twists mixed with scenery and intriguing characters draw in the audience making Oblivion another hit for Tom Cruise.
