It would be helpful if you could bring a sketchbook and a pen for notes. The instructor only has one glue gun, so if you have one, please bring it with you. “Masked Magic” Recruitment
The Art Center of Estes Park invites you to participate in the Community Mask Challenge. All you need to do is pick up an 8″ x 10″ canvas and create a mask that fits on that canvas. Admission is $20. One canvas per person. Anyone between the ages of 5 and 105 can enter. All masks should be priced between $20 and $150. Receive 60% of the sale price. Each canvas comes with pre-drilled holes for hanging wire and hooks. You can choose your preferred horizontal or vertical orientation. A title card/price form is taped to the back of the canvas. It can be 2D painting, collage, 3D, or any medium that fits on the canvas and can be hung on the wall. Make sure that no hanging ribbons, feathers, etc. protrude more than an inch from the canvas.
The exhibition will run from Saturday, February 18th to March 13th, 2023, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 18th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Entry forms and canvases can be picked up daily from Friday to Monday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The number of available canvases is limited. The completed mask will be available on February 11th, 12th and 13th, 2023 (Sat-Mon). Please enclose a completed title card and price list. Prizes will be awarded.
