Baldwinsville, N.Y. — The Baldwinsville School District canceled all after-school evenings, athletics, performing arts practices and events on Friday after police announced the death of a student.

Eva Wood, 14, was found dead of a gunshot wound in her 6 Triangle Place home on Friday morning after her mother called for a condition check after hearing that Ava was not coming to school. law enforcement officials said at a press conference.
