Check out these family friendly activities happening at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum


Ann Arbor – Winter break is finally here, but parents worried about keeping their kids entertained can breathe a sigh of relief.The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum has you covered.

Downtown, the Tree Town Hands-On Center has plenty of activities and events to keep the kids busy.

Enjoy daily themed activities from 11am to 4pm, including glossology, explosives science, and natural delicacies.

Performers entertain with bubble making, live music, crafts, and singing.

The center is also open during special hours during the holiday season. In addition to the usual 10am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday, the museum will be open during the following times:

  • Monday, December 26, 10am-5pm

  • Saturday, December 31, 10am-5pm.

  • Sunday, January 1, noon to 5:00 p.m.

  • Monday, January 2, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
