Chilhowie High School’s cheerleading team members are part of the Varsity Spirit, the global leader in cheerleading, dance teams, band apparel, camps and competitions, and the Varsity Brand, the market leader in team sports, school spirit and sports. We shared the news that we represent a division. Recognition for achievement in VRBO Citrus Bowl pre-game performance at Universal Orlando Resort.
Activities will begin on Friday and will continue until January 3rd.
According to the Varsity Spirit news release, “Cheerleaders, dancers and mascots invited to the VRBO Citrus Bowl pre-game performance will be selected from the trophy-winning teams and teams as well as All-Americans selected by Varsity Spirit. Summer camps across the country Trophy-winning teams and All-Americans are based not only on their cheerleading and dancing skills, but also on their leadership skills demonstrated at various camps.

Chilhow High School students attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) camp on July 17th and 18th at CHS and were selected for this experience.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to perform and experience these talented athletes at this special event in Orlando, Florida,” said Bill Sealey, president of Varsity Spirit.
“We are honored to provide them with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and connect with cheerleaders, dancers and mascots from around the country and create memorable experiences in the parks of Universal Orlando Resort.”
Cheerleaders Courtney Blevins, Addison Rose and Emma Sheets will join the Varsity Spirit Trophy winner and the All-Americans in a one-of-a-kind pregame performance. In addition to traveling to Orlando, athletes will have the opportunity to meet cheerleaders, dancers and mascots from across the country and enjoy the holiday season at the parks at Universal Orlando Resort.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Warrior athletes. It is an honor to be named an All-American. said Keri Russell, principal of Chilhow High School.
