Evening activities will return to Colchester Castle next month for a new lodging experience.
At Knightzzz, a museum run by the Colchester Council, Colchester Castle opens at night to give you an idea of what it’s like for families to sleep in Europe’s largest Norman Keep.
Additionally, you’ll get to see parts of the historic castle that aren’t normally open to the public.
This event is suitable for families, including children ages 5 and up. The group is Lucas vault, prison cell, chapel, or main gallery.
Ticket prices start at £35 per person, with the activity first available on Saturday 11th February.
Pam Cox, Council Culture and Heritage Portfolio Holder, said:
“The friendly team can’t wait to welcome you, so all you need to do is prepare your overnight bag and head to the castle for an unforgettable evening and explore the castle’s riches.” It’s just about taking your place in history.”
