We’ve Got Spirit, How About You! Join Conroe Cheer Stars this spring to learn cheers, jumps, pyramids, basic gymnastics, and perform at games and special events. Students perform in one soccer game, one football game, and one special event in the City of Conroe. Practice days are Mondays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, sessions last 9 weeks and cost $120. The flat rate is $20 which includes a hair bow and T-shirt. Conroe residents get a 25% discount (verification required). Fathers and daughters will enjoy a special evening with dinner, dancing, photo souvenirs and more. The annual Daddy Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 6pm to 9pm at the Magnolia Events Center. This dance is for daughters ages 4 and up. Children ages 6-13 can join the Oscar Johnson Jr. Community Center (100 Park Place) on January 6 from 7-11pm to have fun with interactive staff and help parents Organized activities can be enjoyed while spending a well-deserved evening. We provide a safe and fun environment for children while they enjoy this month’s theme “Blast from the PAST”. The cost is only $6 for residents and $8 for non-residents. The dress-up theme for this Fresh Friday is 90’s attire. Pre-registration is highly recommended as space is limited. You can enter only if there are vacancies on the day!

Camp Fun Quest One Day Camp is fun-filled for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The adventure takes place at the Oscar Johnson Jr. Community Center on February 17th and 20th, when CISD students are off for President’s Day. Under the close supervision of trained FanQuest staff (with her camper to staff ratio of 10:1), campers are sure to have an unforgettable and enjoyable day. Registration for Camp Fun Quest Spring Break Camp opens on January 30, 2023. This kid-approved jam-packed adventure for grades 1 through her 6 takes place during CISD’s spring break week at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center. Trained Fun Quest staff (10:1 camper to staff ratio). Program runs from 7am to 6:30pm. Campers can also participate in excursions and swimming! Space is limited, so please apply early! The registration fee at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center (100 Park Pl.) is $100 per week for residents and $125 per week for non-residents. The Conroe Aquatic Center offers various forms of water exercise classes throughout the week. Classes include water walking, deep water jogging, water aerobics, aquatic rhythm and aquatic boot camp. Classes are included in membership or cost $5 per class. We also have 10 visit punch cards. Private swimming lessons offer personalized instruction designed to help individuals overcome their fear of water or improve existing skills for children ages 4 and up. Adult classes are also open! The cost is $15 for Conroe residents and $20 for a 30 minute class for non-residents. Lessons are available Saturdays from 8am to 12pm and weekdays from 10am to 12pm and 4pm to 6:30pm. The Conroe Aquatic Center offers American Red Cross swimming classes for all ages 6 months and older, including adults. Residents of Conroe can register online starting Wednesday, March 1, and non-residents can register online starting Wednesday, March 8. The cost is $45 for residents and $60 for non-residents.
