Governor Ron DeSantis is prioritizing a cost-effective higher education system that provides quality services and prepares Florida residents for employment. Additionally, as specified in Sections 1000.05 and 1007.25 of the Florida Code, State law requires due diligence in the curriculum content of the higher education system.
Letter from DeSantis Administration
The letter states that each institution should detail the following costs associated with administering each program or activity:
-A brief description of the program or activity
-Positions including full and partial FTE
– total funds spent to support the initiative
– State-funded amount out of the total amount spent to support the initiative
“Please collect and submit all agency responses no later than Friday, January 13, 2023. Responses from each agency will be tabulated by their respective offices and brought together to the Governor’s Office of Policy and Budget. It should be submitted,” the letter said.
