DHS Offices to Close to Facilitate Employee Appreciation and Holiday Activities

The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (DHS) informs communities that it will close its offices in St. Thomas and St. Croix this week to facilitate Employee Appreciation Leave activities for Department staff, volunteers and community partners.

Wednesday, December 14, DHS St. Thomas/St. The John District Office will be closed. We will reopen on Thursday, December 15th at 8am.

On Friday, December 16, the DHS St. Croix office will be closed to accommodate employee holiday activities. We will reopen on Monday, December 19th at 8am and resume normal business hours.

These closures include the Knud Hansen Complex in St. Thomas, the offices in St. John and the Mars Hill Office and Head Start Center in St. Croix. All appointments scheduled for that day have been cancelled. All emergency surgery and 24-hour facilities remain available.
