Walt Disney World Resort is an exciting place to vacation and spend time with family and friends. From attractions to shows and parades to seeing your favorite characters, there is so much to see and do.

However, there are many other activities you can experience at Disney World besides the parks. Disney Springs offers many shopping and dining experiences, two water parks to enjoy, and plenty of outdoor recreational activities.

One of these recreational activities is miniature golf, and one place you can find this activity is Winter Summerland Miniature Golf near Blizzard Beach Water Park.

However, I learned today that the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course will undergo renovations in January 2023. From 24th January 2023 he will be closed until 30th January. Each course will be closed for renovations, but others will be available for guests to play.

If you’re unfamiliar with this mini-golf location, here’s the story behind it.

Winter Summerland is unlike any miniature golf course you’ve ever experienced. Because it was designed by Santa Claus himself!

Late one Christmas Eve night, Santa discovers snow in Florida on his way back to the North Pole. After investigating the strange sight, he decides to build Winterhis Summerland, a holiday destination for off-duty elves.

Realizing that the only thing Winter Summerland lacks is a golf course, Santa and his elves split them into two camps. One enjoys the warm Florida sun and the other he prefers the Arctic snow and cold. Elf then built two completely different 18-hole golf experiences. A sand course named “Summer” and a snow course named “Winter”.
