ROME, NY — The EOS/ESD Association, Inc. (ESDA) provides STEM educational activities and technical certifications to local schools.
The association reaches out to the community to work with individuals who need or desire training in the technical field. Their team is working to attract future generations to this field of occupation.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of the EOS/ESD Association, Inc., we are doing our part to strengthen the technical talent of our community. From designing fun interactive activities and experiments to providing course certification, we recently partnered with Oneida Herkimer Madison BOCES and Vernon Verona Central School District to develop electrostatic discharge We have started offering basic training in the field of (ESD) to our students,” said Lisa Pimpinella.
ESDA also offers online operator training courses that provide the basic information needed to implement an ESD control program and information on how to protect sensitive products.
The ESDA is the only organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop and produce these standards for static electricity. For more information about the association, please visit its website.
