2 Days Tour to Blavay National Park 21-22 January

First day timetable:

On the second day of the tour, participants will visit the following destinations: Mount Borektau, Mount Okjeppes, Mount Zumbaktash, Lake Blavay, Abilai Khan Meadow.

Adults over 12 years old – 34,990 tenge (US$75), children ages 3 to 12 – 29,990 tenge (US$65), children below are free. Prices include transfers, environmental fees, meals, guide services, entertainment programs, hotel accommodation, and photography.

“Bright Thoughts” plays Jan. 21 at 6:00 p.m.

The director of the play, Evgeny Gelfond, adapted the story from several short stories written by the famous Soviet writer and film director Vasily Shukshin.

It depicts the lives of ordinary residents of a village who regularly attend an amateur art club and rehearse. The action revolves around a controversial new theatrical discussion. When characters in a play start talking about a new play, it is inevitable that they will be drawn into a heated discussion.

Creative Evening on French Romance on 22nd January at 7pm

This event is for anyone with a desire to share their creativity with others. It may be in the form of a song, a poem, or playing an instrument.

The dress code is Parisian Chic.

Opera “Kiz Zhibek” in January. 21-22 5pm

Based on the poetic folklore of 16th-century Kazakhstan, this opera is dedicated to the love story of two young hearts, Zibek and Tregen. Known for her beauty, Jibek is ready to marry only the one she loves with all her heart, so she rejects the evil Bekezan. However, tribal wars and the feudal system prevented her from achieving her dreams.

Astana Opera presents a new version of the national classical opera, composed with music by renowned Soviet composer Evgeny Brusilovsky and set to a libretto by outstanding Kazakh writer Gavit Muslepov.

“Kyz Zhibek” runs for two and a half hours. Performed in Kazakh, with English and Russian titles.

Opening of watercolor exhibition by Kazakhstani artists on January 21 from 3-7 pm and January 22 from 1-5 pm

The exhibition will run from January 21-22 to January 28 as part of the Watercolor Festival. It is dedicated to International Watercolor Day and his 11th anniversary of the International Watercolor Society (IWS) globe.

Twenty paintings created by local artists and selected through a competitive process will be presented at the event.

Admission is 500 tenge (US$1) on opening days, free on other days.
