houston –Several Houston-area school districts are monitoring severe weather conditions on Tuesday.
The Houston ISD, Aldin ISD, Spring ISD, Kerin ISD and Splendola ISD said there were no changes to their class schedules today, but several school districts have canceled after-school activities.
The SHS basketball game scheduled for today at Hardin Jefferson has been cancelled. The varsity men’s and women’s teams play tomorrow at Hardin’s Jefferson. At 4:30, the women’s match will begin, followed by the men’s match. pic.twitter.com/lJJQ3BnT63

Conroe ISD school district and campus administrators are now actively monitoring the severe storm moving through the Houston area. If necessary, students and staff will be moved to secure areas within the building until inclement weather has passed. pic.twitter.com/LOphWuzJhb

The Klein ISD said all schools had “exercises due diligence” to move students from their temporary buildings to their main buildings.

The Katie ISD has announced a shelter-in-place as the weather continues.
“We will continue to monitor weather conditions and work with our partner institutions to follow all appropriate protocols to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Stay tuned and we will provide updates as information becomes available.”
