All the live entertainment at the Prince George Coldsnap Music Festival, plus free workshops and ice jams.
In addition to all the live entertainment the Coldsnap Music Festival has to offer, a series of daytime workshops and IceJam are free and open to the public.
Workshops are musician-led, hands-on educational sessions that talk about the art of making music, and IceJam is a free afternoon mini-concert featuring Coldsnap artists. These programs are sponsored by Integris Credit Union, Omineca Arts Centre, Lheidli T’enneh First Nation and Sound Factory.

bookworm boogie Presented by Oot n’ Oots at 11am Saturday, January 28th at the Bob Harkins branch of the Prince George Public Library, children can be seen dancing to the beat while parents take their seats.
pop hooks and rock riffsa songwriting workshop will be held on Saturday, January 28th at noon with Hyaenas and Goodnight Sunrise at the Omineca Arts Center at 369 Victoria St.
celtic jam will take place on Saturday, January 28th at 2pm at the Omineca Arts Centre, 369 Victoria St. and will feature West of Mabou. Please bring the fiddle.
Spirit of Song Ice Jam It will take place on Sunday, January 29th at noon at the Omineca Arts Center featuring The Small Glories.
Rock (Painting) Concert / Usjun Ho Tse Keultrus (You paint on rock while I sing) will be held on Monday, January 30th at noon at the Omineka Art Center featuring local icon Kym Gouchie. Art supplies are limited to the first 30 people.
make blues The workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 31st at noon at The Makerie at 1135 Fifth Ave. Don’t miss your chance to hear Suzie Vinnick and Lloyd Spiegel.
healing power of music Missen of Ireland will perform at noon on Wednesday, February 1 at the Prince George & District Senior Citizens Activity Center Society at 425 Brunswick Street.
Manifest Creativity IceJam will be held at noon on Thursday, February 2 at the Omineka Arts Center featuring Aisanaby.
Winter Summer IceJam will be held at noon on Friday, February 3 at the Omineca Arts Centre.
Writing for Musical Theater The workshop will take place at noon on Saturday, February 4th at the Omineca Arts Center and will feature Kaeley Jade.

The Vancouver Musicians Association will host a Sound Check: Freelancer Symposium on January 28th and 29th at the Omineka Arts Center. The symposium will host workshops and educational panels for musicians to improve their skills and knowledge. More information and registration links can be found at www.coldsnapfestival.com.
