Beginning in February, the Children’s Department of the Lewiston Public Library will offer after-school activities every Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at 200 Lisbon Street.
Activities change weekly and encourage children to express themselves through creative projects and STEAM-based activities while promoting social and emotional learning, according to the library’s Sarah Hartje news release. .
All sessions take place in the Children’s Programming Room.
The first activity will take place on February 2nd, where the children will make beaded bracelets. This activity is recommended for children aged 6 to her 13 years old. It’s for handling small pieces.
The program is free and does not require registration.
