MILO Philippines is returning to a busy schedule of sporting events at the grassroots level that has been limited by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past three years.
With the launch of MILO Active Pilipinas, the sports drink company will resume various on-the-ground events to help Filipino children return to active lifestyles.
MILO Sports Clinics, MILO Marathon, MILO Champ Camp, MILO Home Court and MILO Barangay Liga will return.
“This year, 2023, is the time to move the country from court to court. We believe in instilling values that last a lifetime, the values that make a champion for life.” said Veronica Carmen Cruz, Senior Vice President, Nestlé Philippines MILO Business Unit.
Cruz, who has children of her own, believes that re-immersing Filipino youth in sports after the pandemic will be a great help to them as they adapt to the new normal.
“It must have been hard and scary for them to go back to school, but we know sports can help them,” she said.
“And knowing that we’ve been in front of screens since 2020, today we’re really excited to bring those kids off the couch to court with MILO Active Pilipinas.” rice field.
