Milwaukee County Park offers a variety of activities during the holiday season, including glow skating at Wilson Ice Arena, indoor swimming at Noyes and Pulaski Pools, winter hiking at Wale Nature Center, and sports at the Sports Complex. . Glow Skating at Wilson Park Ice Arena is available on December 30th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm for $7.50. Public skating is available weekdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Indoor swimming is a great way to spend time with family and friends at either the Noyes or Pulaski pools. While you may want to escape the cold, you can think about summer while using public pools to swim laps or jump into the water to make a splash.
If you want to brave the cold or wait for the warm-up next week, the trails at the Wehr Nature Center are open daily from 8am to 5pm and parking is $4.00. The Nature Center building is closed to the public December 24-26 and January 1-2, but the trails are open.
