milwaukee – As the holidays approach, Milwaukee County Parks transforms into winter hours, offering exciting activities for those with time to spare.

Glow Skating at Wilson Ice Arena
Glow skating is a popular activity to look forward to at Wilson Ice Arena. No reservations are required to go skating and masks are optional.
The cost of skating is $7.50 on December 30th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm including skate rentals, glow sticks and ice skating. For more information on Wilson Ice Arena locations, visit

Indoor pool at Milwaukee Public Park
Noyes and Pulaski pools will reopen for indoor swimming this winter. Lap swimming in the Noyes Indoor Pool is available in the morning and afternoon. Anyone can participate in Open Swim.

The Pulaski indoor pool is perfect for private rentals and includes a birthday party package. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge.

Winter hiking resumes at the Wehr Nature center this winter. The trail is open daily from 8am to 5pm. If you want to enjoy the sights and sounds around the beautiful Nature Center, you can pay a $4 parking fee.
The Nature Center building will be closed to the public from Saturday, December 24th through Monday, January 2nd. The trail is then opened to the public. Click here for more information on hiking at the Wehr Nature Center.

The sports complex is open for pickleball and an open gym during breaks from 8 AM to 4 AM most days. From baseball batting cages to soccer fieldhouses, the sports complex caters for a variety of sports year-round.
