PACE provides curriculum activities for youth in community

Council Bluffs, Iowa (KMTV) — Pottawattamie Arts Culture and Entertainment (PACE) provides curriculum activities for youth in the community every Saturday.

Classes are held at the Hof Family Arts and Culture Center in Council Bluffs. Each week had a different theme, Saturday’s theme was 7 Wonders of the World, and class activities were pottery and painting. It gave students the opportunity to express their creativity and learn new skills.

“If you get the chance, offer a little encouragement and support. Small phrases like here look like good or great work. And just find opportunities and excuses for them to create.” creative director Adam Van Osdell said. “Kids will find their way. If you give them resources, they will make their way. That’s what we’re doing here. We provide outlets with resources directly to children, to help them grow.”

If your child is interested in participating, information can be found on the Pottawattamie Arts Culture and Entertainment Facebook page.
