Padres SS Fernando Tatis has Begun Baseball Activities

According to Z101Digital.com’s Hector Gomez, Fernando Tatis has started swinging the bat for the San Diego Padres.

This was expected as Tatis was medically cleared to resume baseball activities earlier this month. The bigger issue for Tatis is that he will be able to attend spring training, including games, but will miss the first 20 games of the regular season due to his suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs.

Tatis missed the 2022 season with a broken wrist and underwent shoulder surgery during the offseason. Will Tatis continue to be a superstar after being arrested for using a PED? Did injuries rob him of some of his strength? How will his teammates feel about him? These are just some of the questions Tatis needs to be answered.

The Padres have a good team and could overtake the Los Angeles Dodgers this year for supremacy in the National League West. Padres and Dodgers both +140 for him to beat the NL West. Check out the FanDuel Sportsbook for every MLB team’s odds of winning a division..
