PDP suspends its chairperson in Ebonyi over alleged anti-party activities

Olognagba said the moratorium had been approved by the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) after an emergency meeting held in Abuja on Friday.

“Pursuant to Sections 29 (2) (b) and 57 (3) (as amended) of the PDP Constitution, the NWC, on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), approved the moratorium on Okoroafo from Friday 27 January. Did.

“The suspension concerned allegations of anti-party activity and violations of the provisions of Section 58(1) of the PDP Constitution (amended in 2017),” he said.

Olognagba added that the suspended PDP chairman has been referred to the party’s appropriate disciplinary committee for further action.
