RiverScene Magazine | Pro Rodeo, Cowboys And Delbert Days Activities Resume Today

Sponsored by Anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Fiat, the first day of the Pro Rodeo Association and Delbert Days will resume today, capped off with plenty of activities for the whole family.

Little cowboys and cowgirls took part in nut-busting and calf-riding competitions, filled the concession stand, and had the chance to participate in several activities in the Kid Zone area.

Rides such as a mechanical bull, a giant taco, and a wall rock climbing activity were also available.

Every year Friends of the Fair hosts an event. Its goals are to promote the Delbert Days and Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo equestrian and family activities, Team Penning and Barrel Racing. Now in its 20th year, the event is the biggest ever with tickets sold out on the first day.

The annual Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association and Delbert Days also featured a bounce house, a petting zoo, face painting, zipline activities, a photo booth, and an enclosure for the little ones.

The adult rodeo was packed with bull riding, barrel racing and live music.

The rodeo resumes today and runs until 4pm for children’s free activities.Rodeo starts at 1pm

Admission is $15 per day for ages 16 and older. Admission is free for children under 15 years old. This event will be held at SARA Park Rodeo Grounds, 7206 Dub Campbell Parkway.
