Hours of operation are 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday. The Active Adult Program is for people over the age of 50. City residents pay fees for programs and activities. The Community Center Courier newsletter lists activities and is available free at cityofbeaverdam.com/bdcas and throughout town, for $13.50 per year by mail.

The Watermark is Dodge County’s senior dining site Monday through Friday. Participants must be 60 years or older. A donation of $3.99 is suggested. Eligible participants should call extension 920-887-4639. Reservations for meals must be made by 102 noon the day before.

Awaken Your Reason: From 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Mondays, this interactive workshop, based on the research of Dr. Richard Leider, will help participants understand how purpose is important to happiness, identify unique gifts and vocations, Use those gifts to help grow and give. We partnered with Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam to offer this free workshop. Registration required.

graceful yoga: Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm. It works on joint mobility and helps build strength and balance. This program is suitable for all levels, including those with chronic illnesses or limitations due to age or size. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat. Register today.

Foot clinic: On the second and third Mondays and Wednesdays, appointments are available for 30 minute monthly foot clinics with two licensed professionals. The clinic offers foot care to clients with diabetes, corns, calluses, fungal infections, thick nails, ingrown nails, and those taking blood thinners.Appointments are required. Travel Presentation Show Colette: On February 2nd, 1-2pm, in partnership with Colette, various extended tours will be offered in 2023 and 2024. Colette’s representative, Katie Gunsheert, shares details of the tours available in this hour-long presentation, along with time for Q&A. Find out more about travel opportunities to the Pacific Northwest and California, Nashville and the Smoky Mountains, and Costa Rica. This is a face-to-face presentation. Registration is recommended. Walk-ins welcome.
